The Crew

No captain sails alone. These are the people who make the voyage worth taking. Friends, collaborators, fellow travelers on the digital ocean. The kind of people who will stay on the call at 3am to help you debug something or argue about whether FFX or FFVII is better.

GhostFrame

Quartermaster

"Quiet until they are not and then everyone pays attention"

GhostFrame does not say much in chat most of the time. But when they do it is always something that makes everyone stop and think. Dropped a comment once during a late night stream about how save files are basically snapshots of who you were at a specific moment in time and the whole chat went silent for a minute processing that. Also makes incredible pixel art and refuses to take credit for it.

Engineer

"Will fix your bug and roast your code in the same sentence"

NullPointer joined the crew after a stream where I was struggling with a particularly cursed CSS bug and they hopped in chat and solved it in three lines. Then stayed for four hours talking about their collection of vintage computers. Has a working Commodore 64 and treats it better than most people treat their cars. The kind of person who understands that technology is not just about what is new but about the whole lineage of things people built before us.

PixelDrift

Navigator

"Finds things on the internet that should not exist and then shares them"

PixelDrift is the reason the Treasure page exists. Constantly surfacing the most obscure, beautiful, bizarre corners of the web and dropping them in chat like it is nothing. "Hey check this out" followed by a link to a website from 2003 that procedurally generates ambient music based on the current weather in Tokyo. That kind of energy. Also responsible for at least 40% of the playlists we listen to on stream.

First Mate

"The person you call when your code is broken and your brain is too"

WarpZone has been around since before the ship had a name. We met in a random Discord server arguing about whether tabs or spaces matter (they do not) and ended up talking for six hours about game design and the meaning of life. Classic internet friendship origin story. These days WarpZone handles a lot of the behind-the-scenes stuff, keeps the community running when the captain is off on a tangent, and consistently has the worst takes about which Pokemon generation is the best. Indispensable.

The crew is always growing. If you have been around the streams or the community for a while and you think you belong on this page then you probably do. Reach out.
